This module briefly describes the
privacy provisions of Newfoundland and Labrador's Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act . This statute
has a general application across government and lays out the basic rules for protection of personal information.
This law applies to government institutions including departments, crown corporations, agencies, boards and commissions of the
Newfoundland and Labrador Government.
