Court Services

The Courts and Legal Services Division of the Department of Justice provides administrative support to courts:

  • The Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador comprised of the Court of Appeal, Trial Division and Unified Family Court.
  • The Provincial Court of Newfoundland and Labrador, including the Youth Court, Traffic Court and Small Claims Court

The Courts act independently from the government to hear and adjudicate individual cases.
