Responsible for:

  • Drafting Bills and regulations for government;

  • Advising and assisting committees of the House of Assembly, committees of Cabinet, members of the House of Assembly and officials of departments on matters related to government Bills;
  • Editing and overseeing the printing of Bills, annual statute books and office consolidations of statutes and regulations;
  • Preparing and maintaining consolidated versions of the province's Acts and regulations, including the versions available online;
  • Preparing periodic revisions of statutes and regulations.
